Egypt will host the Pan African Leather Fair on June 21-23, 2020, trade and industry minister’s adviser for national projects Yasser el Maghrabi said Wednesday.
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said the Egyptian market is a promising one and investment in Egypt allows for exports to various regions through the free trade agreements between Egypt and world countries.
Trade between Egypt and the European Union (EU) surpassed Euros 27 billion in 2018, said Planning Minister Hala el Saeed on Tuesday. She added that Egypt’s continued efforts to ensure gender equality fall within the framework of partnership and cooperation with the EU.
A group of British companies visiting Egypt for an official investment forum have announced that they will inject further investments into education, health care, renewable energy and transportation projects in the country, a statement from the Egyptian investment ministry read.
Moody’s upgraded Egypt’s rating to B2 with a stable outlook, expecting financial and economic reforms to cause gradual and steady improvements in financial indicators as well as Real GDP growth.
